trying the last pleco version using archon for little time I saw colorized icons on the menu... after they returned in black-and-white... an option?

Colorized icons in the bar above the search results, you mean? That's by design - new way of handling search result breakdowns, designed to a) make it easier to play audio for an unknown search and b) get rid of the confusing 'unknown search' setting and make options to create user dictionary entries + flashcards from results easily accessible to everyone.

no, I mean in menu items, but I cannot reproduce the layout now, 'cause the menu now is in b&w.

Furio, do you recommend switching to 3.2.29 in Archon or should I stay in 3.28? I feel it pretty stable

no problems for me, but you can copy the Pleco.apk file in '...\vendor\chromium\crx' for an easier return to the previous version.
