What is a good Flashcard setting for?

I am getting a bit overwhelmed with the many flashcard options.

I imported like 250 characters/words (all simplified) and did test (30 cards) - worked perfectly! I tried 5 Minutes later and got pretty much the same cards.

How can I set it to show random cards, and put perfectly remembered cards far away, cards remembered to some extend nearer, and unknown even higher?

I mean I have Pleco already for a while but haven't done flashcards in ages. Probably never used it on the current phone.

Not related, but anyway: I learn simplified - how can I have the trad character not appear?

Is the 'limit new cards per day' feature enabled in Card Selection? That would explain the repetitive test if so - the idea is to not introduce more cards at once than you can actually learn / remember.

As far as what you're describing, our spaced repetition system does this if it's enabled - spacing between reviews is higher for less well remembered cards - but if the system doesn't have any other cards to show you due to running out of new cards / hitting its new per day limit, it will show you the same old ones instead of refusing to do any review at all.

For simplified only, you can hide them app-wide in Settings / Languages / Headword Mode, or in a flashcard test specifically in New Test / Display / Force Character Set / Simp-only.

Thanks, this solved all issues.

I had the 'limit new cards per day' enabled. From the 250 cards I know like 90% and I want them to move to as far in the stack as possible. Maybe should simply not add characters that I most likely not forget.
