Warning dialog in airplane mode

When my iPhone is set to airplane mode and I fire up Pleco, I often get a "Turn off airplane mode or use wi-fi to access data" dialog box. If I tap OK, Pleco works fine, so this isn't a huge deal but it's still a little irritating. No other app on my phone does this. This is on an up-to-date, non-jailbroken iPhone 4.

Is there maybe a setting I can tweak to get it to stop trying to access the network when it's launched?

Not yet, but we're taking away the flag that puts up that message altogether in 2.2. We were really hoping Apple would do something to fix this in OS 4, but they didn't; they did, however, add USB file installation support, and since that provides us with another workaround for the rare bug / network problem which we'd originally set that flag to deal with, we think we can safely turn it off without running the risk of leaving someone unable to install add-ons.
