Very minor reader ebook page slider Issues

I’ve been using Pleco as a generic epub reading app recently because its faster and better designed than Apple Books or any other I’ve tried. (I thought epubs were somehow inherently laggy until I tried them in Pleco, so props to making a great reader.)

On that front I’ve ran into a few small oddities with the page slider while reading ebooks. I say these are very minor issues because the slider still works basically fine (and for long books I often keep it off anyway), and I figure these are probably due to messiness in the source files rather than a bug on Pleco’s end. But since I came across them thought I might as well report them.

I have one book where the slider shows numbers from 1 to 106 even though the indicator at the bottom accurately lists 977 pages. The slider jumps to the appropriate place in the book, just the number displayed on the slider is wrong.

Another has correct page numbers but has (chapter #) in parentheses, which do not match the actual chapter numbers but rather the index of the TOC entry. TOC entry names are not shown on the slider.

And then in Chinese History: A New Manual, everything is good until the end of the slider, which doesn’t match the page it goes to anymore. It might be related to the TOC entries for Index Names by letter not properly linking to those sections but skipping to the next section (Book Index). I have the first available edition of that book; maybe this was fixed in later editions.
