Trouble decreasing initial score

I've been trying to decrease the initial score for Pleco flashcards so that initial reviews come more quickly, setting the "initial correct score" to 50/25/10. However, when I get a card right the first time, it still seems to set it to ~200. Does anyone know if there's a trick to this?
 
Try changing points per day to 1000 and doing everything on that scale instead - does that work any better?
 
Seems to be working, although it of course seems to have messed up the scores on my cards and they're all coming due at once, but once I get through that it'll all be good.
 
You can fix that in Organize / Edit / Batch - there's an option there to multiply all scores by a fixed amount.
