Single character pop up definition

Hi, from a flashcard, if I tap a word, I can change dictionary or swipe to scroll through the definition. But if I long tap to access the definition of a single character (very handy when checking Outlier dictionary): I’m stuck, can’t change the dictionary nor swipe (like if the pop up dictionary was a still image).
It feels like a bug!

Thanks - that does look like a bug - but why are you long pressing instead of tapping? Tapping on the character should work too. If it selects the whole word you can tap on the |<- arrow to shrink the selection.

I didn’t know the trick with the arrow, the long tap just came naturally !

2nd comment: the aero trick only works for the first character, not the others. In that case the long tap seem to be the only direct option without expanding the full dictionary

You can use the -> button to move the selection to the second character after tapping on the first.
