Screen reader not working in landscape mode

The screen reader works fine in portrait mode, but in landscape mode the right side of the green selection box is off screen so it cannot be adjusted and the bottom part of the screen is not accessible.
The original screen:

When screen reader is activated:

Any ideas?

What brand / model of phone is this, and what version of Android is it running?

Also, if you've turned on gesture navigation, turn that off in your system settings.

It's a Fairphone F3 on Android 10.

The problem was the gesture setting like you suggested, but it was the opposite: I was using 2-button navigation, tried switching to Gesture navigation and now everything is fine!

Also noticed there is now an x at the top centre of the screen to exit, it wasn't there before, even in portrait mode. I had to exit without it .... Try, you'll see what a pain it is;)

Love you Mike

Great, glad I could help! Haven't heard of it happening in that direction before, but it's not that surprising as phones frequently seem to report metrics for one mode when they're actually in the other.

That's sort of scary ...
In looking into this I noticed I only have 3 gesture options for some reason, everyone else seems to have 8, maybe that has something to do with it
