Screen reader instead of ocr bug

I'm not sure if this is actually called the screen reader but I'm talking about the feature that takes advantage of like the accessibility API or whatever to make all text on screen popup selectable. I've made it so that that button is hidden and I only see the ocr button but every so often rather than OCR, it activates the screen reader feature even though there's only 1 ocr button lol. It happens often enough to make me want to let you guys know. Thanks

That’s odd - you’re sure it’s actually activating accessibility and not simply prompting you to enable the accessibility extension? In recent versions of Android we’ve switched to using accessibility to get screenshots for screen OCR, because the media projection API we used to use got too annoying/unreliable with recent new security restrictions (constantly having to re-grant permission for Pleco to keep using it eg).

Yeah when I tap the ocr button it's exactly as if I tapped on the screen reader. Because of the webpage being webtoons it fills up the whole screen with mainly comments that are at the very bottom of the page.

What brand / model of Android device this and what Android / firmware version is it running? And what version of Pleco?

Samsung Note 20 Ultra running Android 13.
Pleco Version 3.2.97
