Pronunciation Recordings Suggestions

Any suggestions for pronunciation recordings?

Would a simple USB-mic suffice? [samson go?/blue snowball?]

I believe that would work fine - could upgrade to e.g. the Blue Yeti if you want to be able to monitor easily on headphones (useful for picking up flaws as they come in), but then of course you'd need a nice pair of closed-ear headphones too.
