Pleco on Windroy - corrupted install

Hi,

I am trying to run the Android version of Pleco on a Windows 8 tablet through Windroy (http://www.socketeq.com/)

After I install the basic data files, I get this error message:

"sorry, but this copy of Pleco seems to be corupted and cannot run"

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Bernhard

Probably has to do with our heavy use of native ARM code - not much we can do about that, unfortunately.

Okay, thanks anyway. I did manage to run it through Bluestacks, unfortunately the newest version of Bluestacks doesn't like my graphics card :-(

Actually, Bluestacks support got back to me very quickly with a workaround (see below). Pleco runs fine now on my Windows 8 tablet (still need to do more testing to see if everything works as expected).

Here is the workaround (in case someone else has the same problem):

Please could download and execute the registry config script below and then try? This will disable the check for graphics drivers. http://cdn.bluestacks.com/public/tools/skip-graphics-driver-check.reg

Ideally you do need the latest version but it seems that your vendor has not validated the latest version from Intel for your laptop.
