Other Asian Dictionaries

Mike,

With the acknowledged versatility of Pleco on the Chinese dictionary front, what's to stop you from launching other Asian dictionary apps like Japanese or Thai—languages which I am now a student of? Currently, I can't see anything that comes close to Pleco.

We're too busy with Chinese, and thanks to the amount of time we've had to spend the last few years just treading water to keep up with OS updates we're way way behind schedule on a lot of new features we want to add - no way we can possibly justify pushing that stuff back even further to do something that only a small % of our users would have any interest in.

I figured with Outlier planning to do a Canto [Pleco already supports] dict, and a Japanese version dictionary; that Pleco would jump in with CH-
>JP JP->EN dictionaries.

No, while that would help a bit for duplicated effort it's still just too much work to justify supporting Japanese right now.
