New Dictionary Ideas?

Duogongneng C-C to C-E is something I would pick up if presented in a more structured way than the current 'Browse all dictionary entries' method. The one resource that I feel Pleco could truly use is a character etymology reference. It makes for an interesting read and is fun for kids too. Outlier Essentials is a good starting point. So is Wenlin (on PC). Editorial resources towards that front would be welcome. Food and drink is interesting (I transliterated menus for two restaurants in Shanghai) but I would rather see C-E chengyu and etymology before that.

I've always wanted a 字字的字 dictionary. Like if I have the character 包 how do I know which word, phrase expression is best to link it to to tell other people what character I'm talking about. Should it be 包头的包 or 面包的包 - I couldn't exactly go around saying 包皮的包 now could I?

I can't even find a good list for this kind of stuff and a lot of it is cultural.
