Latin Font Size Definition

Just installed the new beta, eager to try it out!

Something I noticed is that there seems to be no option to change the Latin font size for the definition texts. Am I blind?

Hi Spyral,

Mike must be busy looking at my databases and settings right now, so here's my first answer: Pleco now respects the general system font size setting which you can find in the Control Center (at least with iOS 26): Add/tap the "AA" button, and the font size can be set just for Pleco!

Thanks! However, this then also changes the other Latin font sizes, which I don’t want to change.

Sorry, which Latin fonts would you like to have different sizes? We’re trying to minimize the number of options but we can reconsider specific ones based on need. Is the problem that you want the dictionary entry text larger (or smaller) but not the user interface?

Yes, exactly, the definition entry is a bit small, but I like the size of the UI.

Another thing that I think could benefit from adjusting ist the font size option for Chinese characters in the definition entry. Default is a bit small but going to large is quite a big difference, and to big in my opinion.

Hmm, that's actually the one area we added options versus 3.0 where you could only double it, since now there's a middle option that's 1.5x.
