Importing Cards without Pleco "correcting" pronounciation

I'm wanting to use Pleco's flashcards for testing something else - not Chinese!
However I have a problem in that when I import the cards, Pleco appears to automatically "correct" whatever is in the pronounciation field and
e.g. tōm gets corrected to tōng
Is there anyway I can turn off this autocorrect?

If you do not need the pronunciation, you can just enter headword and definition for any western language pair. If you need pronunciation, you enter @ in first position of the pronunciation field and avoid Pleco's change into correct pinyin.
