How can I create a custom user dictionary via a text editor and computer?

I'm afraid we don't support Cantonese in user dictionaries at the moment. (for flashcards you would put it at the end of the pinyin column, surrounded by {} brackets, but the user dictionary importer will just ignore that)

As soon as I saw this answer I remembered that you had answered me elsewhere about this, long ago. Thank you again.

But now, you said: "I should note that our long-awaited 4.0 update will support searchable Cantonese readings in user dictionaries :) "

So, how may I beg to beta test 4.0? (I beta tested twice for W when I was studying Mandarin.) I have an iPad Mini 4, a Samsung J3 phone with Android 6, and an Asus Android tablet with Android 5, all with Pleco already.

We're planning to do a public beta once it's ready. TestFlight limit on iOS is 10,000 testers, and on Android there's no limit at all (though the Android release of 4.0 will likely lag behind iOS a bit), so I expect we'll have room for pretty much anybody who's interested :)
