Hide pinyin on flashcard tone testing?

I use the flashcards a lot, especially the tone practice but I'd like to hide the pinyin so I'm only seeing the characters. Is there a way to do that? I have "Characters" only selected but it still displays the pinyin. I'd be fine with it showing it after I choose tones, I just don't want the pinyin clue while I'm reviewing the cards. Thanks!

In that case, why not just do a "fill-in-the-blanks" test prompting for Pinyin?

Because it takes too long to type out the pinyin for each word each time. I'd rather bang through them quickly with the tones and say the pinyin out loud to myself. Then I can go through a card every second or so whereas typing the pinyin every time would take way too long. For now I put a rubber band over the pinyin bar.
