Handwriting input, screen does not show handwritten characters.

Hi, Sir

I installed Pleco on my Huawei P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. The handwriting input screen on the Huawei does not show the characters that are written on it. It is like writing a black line on a black background. Although not seeing what is written, the characters presented by Pleco are what I have written. I do not have this problem with the Galaxy Tab S2. I have the Swiftkey keyboard installed on the Huawei as the default. Can you tell me what is causing the problem? Thank you for your help.

Check Settings / Miscellaneous and toggle the 'force software rendering' option to whatever it isn't on now - does that help?

Thanks, Mike. Your suggestion worked. The tick box should be off. I had it on.
