One very important question considering flashcards (which I would like to purchase possibly).
Is the pinyin pronunciation audio activated after you reveal the card or when you see the Chinese character (in the question part)?
I think the audio pronunciation should always be in the answer side of the card, since you're practicing character meaning recognition. If you hear the pinyin too, then you might be able to deduce the meaning only from that and not from the character itself, which is useless. (since you wanna learn characters)
Since there is no demo version available on flashcards, I don't know the answer to this.
