Flashcard Testing for Stroke Names

I want to create a flashcard test that plays the audio of a stroke name and requires the user to draw the stroke.

For example, the test for a flashcard containing 横 would require the user to draw a horizontal line.

Can this be done with the current version of Pleco for iPhone? (I read the manual and could NOT see a way to do it.)

No - to be honest this sounds like something better suited to a specialized stroke-name-teaching app, designing a general-purpose flashcard system flexible enough to accommodate this would be rather challenging.

Can't think of one, but I don't really follow that part of the market as closely as I should.

Can't I just create a custom card with the character stroke , e.g., 丿, and pinyin, e.g., pie3?

If you can get the stroke to render correctly, yes, but that would only show you the stroke, it wouldn't let you draw it per your original request.
