That’s intentional, though I realize it’s a change from 3.0 so if we get a lot of requests we might reconsider it.
(It’s because we’re now doing everything in one field - in order to make keyboard/cursor use easier - and so it makes sense to require an explicit separator after every syllable to avoid ambiguity)
