Coloring Chinese Characters by Tone for the whole text

Hi everyone,

I've been brainstorming ways to enhance my Chinese reading and pronunciation skills, and I thought of a method that might help not just me, but other learners as well. The idea is to color-code Chinese characters based on their tones. For instance, assigning four distinct colors to the four tones, so that while reading, the color associated with each tone helps in quickly recognizing and remembering the correct pronunciation.

This functionality is already applied in the Pleco dictionary, but it does not work in the reader to color the whole text when exporting the page to the text-only mode(see the attached screenshot).

I think for all visual learners out there this would be a great function as it would allow them to subconsciously learn the right tones for each hanzi. Also since the functionality is already present in the dictionary, when searching for a specific word, might not be that hard to implement. It would save people a lot of time and hardships with remembering correct tones.

In the end it should look similar to this: https://www.purpleculture.net/color_code_chinese_by_tone/
or this: https://www.archchinese.com/color_code_chinese_characters_by_tone.html

I believe this could be a visually intuitive way to reinforce tone learning and would love to hear your thoughts or any recommendations on this.

Thank you!
