you're welcome! Yeah, I noticed them, too. The determining factor was that they were in a chengyu dictionary, so that dictionary's criteria may have been a little less rigid. They do seem to be standing expressions, though, just not four-syllable chengyu in the stricter sense.

Yes, these idioms or common expressions I don't know if they fit in the most traditional definition of chengyu, but I have some of them in my own list as well. Since some of them are very common as well, they are also very welcome!

I think that's also typically Chinese, Chinese tend to prefer ”差不多“ over razor-sharp precision. Just because they feel a particular phrase belongs in their dictionary, they will put it in there without much qualms.
