cc-cedict old?

is the cc-cedict on android super old?

I downloaded the new files prompted on start-up and it looked like I had a very up to date version of cc-cedict but my add-ons page was showing cc-cedict as bold - as if I hadn't downloaded it - and now my copy of cc-cedict seems kind of old. I was never prompted to update files again.

any ideas?

The one in the add-on catalog is old but the one built into the app should be quite new. Go into Settings / Manage Dictionaries / CC-CEDICT - is the date listed in your copy of CC-CEDICT recent? If not, the file download might have been corrupted - go into Settings / Miscellaneous and tap on the option at the very bottom to download the bundled data files again.

Yeah the one from add-ons is from like '15 - force redownload worked perfectly - but add-ons is still showing that CC-CEDICT hasn't been downloaded!
