Add entries to flashcard from purchased dictionary

Hello all,

I am wondering whether it is possible or not to add entries of a purchased dictionary to a flashcard. (Preferably in a customizable manner, i.e. the user can set which fields from the given dictionary they need on the flashcard.)

My specific interest is in Outlier's dictionary - it has a quite impressive feature called meaning tree, where the different meanings are shown as related for the sake of easier memorization. It would be really nice to have these meaning trees rather than (or in addition to) a simple definition on my flashcards.

As far as I understand, this is not possible using third-party flashcard systems like Anki, due to copyright concerns (see this thread). (Which is really a pity anyway...) However, I couldn't find any information about such a feature in Pleco's own flashcard system. If it is possible with that, I would think about purchasing this add-on.

Thanks for the help!

Yes, within our flashcard system you can create cards from any dictionary, including Outlier. This also works in the free version of it if you already own Outlier, so you can try it out that way and make sure it works to your satisfaction before purchasing.

Thanks a lot, meanwhile I've tried it out. It is close to what I imagine, yet it would be really great to customize a bit what to include to the back of the card and what to ignore, i.e. when I reviewing flashcards, I really rarely want to check the whole corresponding article of the given word. I could not find anything except the "Definition sections" setting, which however does not help this issue, as even in the strictest (definition only) option will give me plenty info on the card's back. Is there any way to extract only the most important information (e.g. only which is under "Meanings" heading)?
