“Study new cards first” not working in test

Hi,

I’ve been picking up my Chinese again after a big break and working through my flashcards using SRS.
I’m using default settings.

While working through a huge backlog of overdue flashcards I still want to learn new words. I remember I used this setting and it worked perfectly before.
Now when I turn on “study new cards first” it still gives me all the overdue cards.

What am I doing wrong?

That feature specifically applies to new cards introduced through the 'limit new cards' feature (which would probably be a good idea in your case anyway) - turn that one on and it should get them to come up first.

In that case, wouldn't it make sense to gray it out or disable "Study new cards first" if "limit new cards" is turned off? Just to make it clearer how they are related?
