TTS Qiang's 行 pronunciation

I've been using the Pleco add-on "Qiang Text-to-Speech Voice" and I've noticed that when it's reading it often pronounces as háng instead of xíng, but sometimes it'll pronounce it as xíng instead. I'm just wondering how the TTS picks which pronunciation to go with, since contextually xíng seems to be the proper use in most cases.

It's a black box from our perspective, but we can override it in cases like this (and are working to do that at least for example sentences where we have Pinyin).

I also use the Qiang TTS voice. It pronounces

“一件容易的事情”
like
"yī jiǔ róngyì de shìqíng"

where "yí jiàn ..." would be correct.

Perhaps it can be overridden, but are new, perhaps even ML-based voices planned for Pleco 4.0, or later? As far as I'm concerned, they need not sound very smooth, they should just be as clearly intelligible as possible.

Thanks!

No, but we are going to be feeding example pinyin readings into the TTS engine now, which should fix a lot of these cases, assuming the example has pinyin and that that pinyin is correct.
