Flashcard Filter logic to „or“ instead of „and“

I want to use two kind of filter for my flashcards in tests:

1. Score
2. Time since last review

If I activate both filters it will apply an „and“ logic. The cards only show if they are were reviewed longer since x days AND have a score less than y.

I would like to have an „or“ logic. If either one of the filters is postive, the card should come up.

Is that possible somehow?

Hi Shintaro,

I think it isn't possible to do directly in Pleco 3, but you could of course use the first filter alone, then use the second one alone with an additional time filter (say, "last reviewed not within 12 hours") that prevents cards from the previous learning sessions from being re-tested. It isn't quite as good, but should come relatively close.

Hope this helps,

Shun

That's how I do it right now, but it's always better if old vocabs come up unexpectet.

This is correct, yes. But it’s definitely possible in 4.

Where can I get the new version? Is it even released yet?

That‘s true! The flashcards search function already has an OR option. You could copy the search results into a new category, and that would then be truly mixed. However, you’d have to do this repeatedly because it isn’t updated.
