Wade–Giles in Pleco

Has consideration been given to adding the Wade-Giles transliteration to pleco? Forgive me if I am referring to an issue that has already been addressed or discarded. What are your thoughts on adding such a transliteration? To give an example, I am reading Cambridge's history of China, and it is a headache to search for certain terms in Wade-Giles where even google search runs out of clues. The idea of entering certain Wade-Giles terminologies into pleco and seeing their dictionary entries and pinyin equivalents seems somewhat utopian to me. I would like to hear if such a task would be possible, and, if not, what would be the technical difficulties?

It's in the works, but I don't have any information to share about when it'll be ready.
