Stroke Order

The new handwriting recognizer does a great job of pulling up the correct character. I had my teacher test it the other day writing her fast "normal" script instead of the more formal writing style and it worked every time.

One question though. Is there a way to make it require correct stroke order? I want to use it to practice my stroke order when writing. The old one was more specific and useful for this. Is there a way to have both hand writing methods installed and pick which one to use?

By the way, if not that is fine. I just figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. The new system is a huge improvement over the old.

Thanks! Yeah, it really is an amazingly powerful recognizer.

On the stroke order front, I'm afraid our license for that old recognizer expired and hence we no longer have any way to include it in our software. However, we are planning to introduce a stroke order diagram feature in a future PlecoDict update, and along with that we'll probably offer some sort of stroke order tester (hopefully even integrated with the flashcard system in some way).

You guys really are dreaming big (but also realisically it seems). I am excited to see what you come up with and to be able to recommend it to my friends.
