Reduced two-finger tap sensitivity

Running a self-graded flashcard test with the built-in scratchpad, I've noticed that the sensitivity to two-finger taps for erasing the scratchpad seems to have been reduced, and that its action is being delayed by a quarter of a second or so. I often need to tap the two-finger gesture twice to get it to register.

Was this a deliberate change? If not, could the old snappiness be restored?

This is on an iPhone Xr, beta version .18. Thanks.

Not deliberate, will investigate - might be that it's delaying recognition to look for another gesture in some situations.
