Mobioffice, $39.95, allows you to directly edit and use word, excel and powerpoint files without conversion and save them on your sd card in a directory of your choice.
It also allows the placement of true type fonts on your sd card as well as most of the program. I put simsum.ttf, mingliu.ttf, msgothic.ttf and arialunicode.ttf in a font directory on my card. This allows me to view large Chinese documents and short stories.
I input Chinese in memopad and format in Mobi-systems or on my pc. It's an alternative which provides a Chinese doc reader on the go.
