Poll: Three-finger tap

Would it be a good idea to introduce a three-finger tap in the Dictionary's Handwriting input area to clear the whole search field?

Isn't it just as easy to click on the X at the right of the search field?

It is, but I often miss it. (so I have to tap twice)
