Pleco 3.2.23 crashes on all Chinese searches

I'm trying to look up some words in Chinese but Pleco crashes as soon as I type the second letter. This happens every time. I submitted crash reports, but will summarize findings here so they are in one place.

• Crashes when I search the Chinese dictionary
• Crashes when I search the English dictionary with the outline background.
• It does not crash when I search for an English word when E is selected with a solid background.
• It crashes with SwiftKey Neural.
• It crashes with the Samsung keyboard.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 5.0.

Back up your settings and flashcards, then uninstall and reinstall Pleco - it sounds like one of our app's database files has gotten corrupted.
