PDAs still available in Shanghai?

Hello,
I bought a Treo 680 last October and it has already broken down on me. (the charge light remains dimly lit and it will not fully power up). It's still within the warranty but the owner of PDA Dream in Shanghai will not honor it because he believes I was a negligent owner. After wasting 3000 rmb on that piece of garbage, I've decided to join the rest of the modern world and get a black berry or iphone.

Regardless, Pleco still is a fantastic and the flashcard system is perfect for practicing characters during my daily commute on the subway.

Aside from Taobao.com would anyone happen to know a place where I might be able to find an old dirt-cheap Palm PDA to run pleco on? I asked a guy at the Xujiahui electronic mall and he invited over his friend in a 'check out this loser' fashion. They both laughed at me and I can't really blame them.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks

Buy it on ebay and have them ship it to you. As a general rule, I have found buying "namebrand" stuff in China to be very expensive relative to buying it out of the US Ebay store.

As for Palm (and Apple devices), the entire Chinese society is built on PCs and non-palm devices.

I use an E2 and they go for about 150, more or less...
