parts of speech in dictionary entry are scrambled

i've recently realized that for characters that are designated as verbs, the part of speech indicator (动) does not show up in the dictionary entry. instead, there is just a square box inside of parentheses. when pleco is using the traditional character set, though, it appears as (動). incidentally, i was having some troubles with my user dictionaries so i deleted both the user db file and the user flashcard files in my pda's my documents folder...but i'm pretty sure the problem existed before i did that...

any advice?

Haven't had any other reports of this yet, at least none I can remember - are you using CE-Star or Monster Chinese or another environment like that? Try exiting PlecoDict completely (using the Quit command in the Dict menu), soft resetting your Pocket PC, and reopening - does that help matters?
