Other languages/Unicode on Palm

As well as studying Chinese, I have also studied Russian, and have downloaded a freeware flashcard programme that I hoped to use to transcribe a book with the 10000 most frequent Russian words in. But I found that the Russian words are not recognised on my Palm TX. Then i discovered - to my great annoyance - that Unicode is not supported on Palms. There are various Russification programmes around, but they are only for non-Chinese operating systems, and my Palm is running CJKOS. Does anyone know anyway I can work around this other than buying a whole new Palm for non-Chinese work and loading it with a Western operating system?

If you temporarily disable CJKOS before you run the Russian enabler, it should work fine. CJKOS only causes problems if it's actually running at the same time as the Russian program; simply having them installed at the same time shouln't make any difference.
