OCR Issues

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but since installing iOS 8 I have found it difficult to save (or to import) photos of Chinese texts into files in my OCR, The "Pleco" folder no longer appears in among possible destinations when I try to transfer a photo from my camera (or from another app) to Pleco, and nothing that I have yet tried in the "Settings" folder has resolved this problem. Any ideas?

That's a change in how iOS handles photo sharing - they took out the option to open photos in an arbitrary app. But if you simply choose Still OCR from our sidebar menu and pick the option to open a photo from your Photo Library, you can browse and select a photo that way too.
