OCR Camera Problem

So here's my situation. When I select to use the OCR, I'm holding my camera vertically. However, the orientation on the screen is horizontal as if I was holding it horizontally. It's really weird to explain, but I think the best way I can explain it is by tilting your head 90 degrees to the left and looking straight, that is what the OCR is seeing. When I move the phone up, the image on the screen goes left. When I move the phone to the left, the image goes up. I restarted, I powered down, I took the battery out, I turned off motion, I closed pleco and opened it back up. The normal camera app that is standard to all smartphones works perfectly.
Please help me. I love the OCR. It helps me read menus here in Taiwan.

Go into the Pleco "Settings" screen / OCR / Live OCR and try setting "Camera Orientation" to "Default + 90 degrees" - does that help?

I had the same problem. Nothing worked to fix it except this:

1. Uninstall the OCR add-on
2. Reboot
3. Reinstall the OCR add-on

After this it worked fine.
