Middle Chinese tone-colouring?

I tried adding a text formatter to colour based on tone type, but I don't think it's possible to tell the patter matcher to say search (particular parts of particular) dictionary entries, is it?

(Favourite part of the new version - that the hover definitions now can show middle-Chinese pronunciation )

I think you could maybe do it by defining a new field + linking it to the Middle Chinese pronunciation field in SDCMC, but I haven't tested it and there's a good chance something about that process doesn't work. (this is part of why we're planning to pull back from some of the current customizations and just add features like this ourselves)
