Memory allocation error on Tungsten E

I've manually installed all PlecoDict files to my main memory except for the ABC dictionary files and size 18, 24 and 48 font files, which I installed to the /Palm/Programs/PlecoDict dir on my SD card. The previous version of PlecoDict worked great, but the this Beta 2 is giving me a "PlecoMain.cpp, Line:934, Memory allocation error" when I tap the PlecoDict program icon. I have 5Mb free space on main memory and 6Mb free on SD card.

Any suggestions to how to remedy this?

Are you running any unusual system hacks or extensions? We're not aware of any specific problems, but it's quite possible that a program that runs code before an application switch (application launchers like McPhling, Switch5, etc) might cause this problem (a conflict with PlecoDict's startup file loader). Try deleting any such programs from your Tungsten and see if the situation improves - you can then reinstall them one by one (if you're using more than one) and test PlecoDict after each one to find out which specific program causes the conflict.

Mike, thanks for your suggestion. I did read another post in which you mentioned removing hacks, but didn't think that was the problem. You were right, though; I had to remove MultiUserHack to get Pleco to work.
