install problems related to ABC

When I use Quick Install to load in files not related to Pleco programs, Quick Install keeps reporting 'Synchronizing Pleco Dict' and then 'Install failed....myotis/install/ABC.pdp'. It takes forever to load anything new.
Is there a way to disable what ever the proble is? Thanks much.

It looks like the ABC database is set to your Palm's internal memory instead of to an expansion card, and there isn't enough room; when this happens, Palm Desktop rather dim-wittedly keeps trying to install the same file again every time you HotSync even when there's clearly not enough room.

The solution is go to into the c:\program files\palm\myotis\install\ directory on your hard drive and remove the offending ABC.pdb file. You can then go back into Quick Install and queue it up to install to your Palm's expansion card instead.
