How to create Hanzi in new entries

When I create a new entry for use with flashcards, is there an easy way to create the Han Zi? Currently, I have to go to the memo program, create the Han Zi, then copy and paste into PlecoDict.

I am using CJKOS but the 'double tap' in the new entry field does not bring up their Chinese keyboard as it does in memo.

Two ways to do this:

1) Enable the "Input Field Compatibility Mode" option in the Characters section of Preferences, which will allow you to use CJKOS to enter text.

2) Tap on the "HWR" or "Rad" button in the custom entry editor screen.
