How do you remove ~ from sample sentences

I have tried many times looking through the help and the settings to work out if this is possible, I find it quite frustrating, ie if you look up a word "過來“, it shows a sample sentence "你~以下".

Is it actually possible, or do I need to raise a feature request?

Whoo! That works, youve made me very happy, thanks :)

I am sure I have tried that before and it didn't work :)

glad it worked. with some settings i have found that you have to cycle through the dictionaries to see it take effect. or maybe restart the app.

It actually only works in the PLC dictionary at the moment; the other dictionaries aren't coded for it. (it's a difficult process to automate - we'd have to go through and manually check every entry to make sure the formatting wasn't screwed up - and while that's on our to-do list it's labor-intensive enough that we're having trouble making it a priority)
