Hope New Century English-Chinese Dictionary add the sections "Culture Note" and "Usage Note"

I found New Century English-Chinese Dictionary is lack of "Culture Note" and "Usage Note" sections, which appear in paper edition.

These sections are very useful features in the dictionary. Hope they are included in the future.

Probably only if we get a lot more interest - in general those seem to mostly be relevant to people learning English, not Chinese, so we tend to think there are better things to spend our editors' time on.

but without these Note sections, this dictionary is not so complete. Why not get a unabridged one from FLTRP??

Also, the current version of this dictionary don't contain phonetic transcription.

We have the complete data, we just don't bother cleaning up / releasing IPA pronunciations or English usage notes; combination of reducing clutter and saving editorial effort. Since we're not really in the business of making products for Chinese speakers learning English we don't think those would be useful enough to be worth the trouble to add.

For those CSL, I think phonetic transcription is also essential, because for those uncommon words, most English people still don't know how to pronounce them. Besides, there are a lot of bilingual learners of both English and Chinese. Pls kindly consider providing the full version in the future. Thank you!!
