Is there a way to specify whether you want the characters on the flashcards to be displayed in simplified or traditional?

They'll use whatever the setting in the main dictionary is, so if you set that to traditional or simplified before a flashcard session the flashcards will be shown with that character set.

flashcards: option to display/toggle simp. and trad. chars?

I would find it very helpful to have the option of viewing both the simplified and traditional characters at the same time on a flashcard (such as how the ABC dictionary entries indicate which characters have different traditional/simplified forms), as well there being an option of having a button displayed on each flashcard to toggle or reveal the other form of the characters during a flashcard session.

By requiring me to change the dictionary settings to change which form of the characters is displayed during flashcards, I effectively have to do two separate passes of my flashcards to learn both forms of the characters, which is tedious and makes it harder to note the differences between the two forms of characters at once, as well as which characters have identical simplified and traditional versions.

Is such a feature a possibility for the next version of PlecoDict?

Thanks,
Kevin

Actually, you can already do this if you turn off Magnify Characters in the Test Settings screen. We can't reliably fit magnified versions of both the simplified and traditional characters for a word at the top of the screen, which is why we don't give you them when magnification is enabled, but with magnification turned off you get both versions. You can see most of the details if you turn on the Large Font in Definition option, and as in the main dictionary you can tap on characters in a flashcard session to bring up their magnified versions.
