It looks like there's no way to change the default path for importing / exporting flashcards to external card. The filename is equally fixed (flashcards.txt in TXT mode) and that file cannot be erased from PlecoDict if it already exists.
It would be useful if this default could be changed, at least remembered between imports/exports. After contemptuously ignoring flashcards I am now heavily using them but I had a system crash over the w.e. where I lost lots of cards so I'm now regularly saving them to external file, together with the other text files I edit with CardTXT (great freeware app).

Sensible idea. We've been thinking about upgrading that part of the import / export screen anyway; it would be nice if Palm OS supplied built-in file open / save dialogs like Windows does, but it's not *that* complicated to build our own. At the very least we certainly should be remembering the previous input as opposed to filling it in with the default each time.
