Flashcard: Remap dictionary to diffrent variant

How do I remap a Flashcard to a diffrent variant? For example I have a Flashcard for 累 but as lei3. I want ro change it to lei4 (tired). I only see an option to remap the same variant to a different dictionary.

At the moment you'd want to go in and edit the card text, then go back and remap - we could consider adding a faster method if we get a lot of requests.

I tried that but it didn‘t work. However, I realized you have to close the edit screen first an open it up again for the remap to work. Otherwise it reverts to the old variant.

This is somewhat of a problem though, as is not possible to change the variant from the flashcard test edit screen, right?

That should be fixable. But to be honest, from a design perspective we consider those two different 'words,' so we're not really building around the expectation that you'd want to turn one into the other very often - it would be like wanting to remap a card from 你好 to 早上好, at that point you would generally just create a new card.

Is the problem that you imported this from a file and you now want to correct it? (just trying to understand the use case here)

Yes the flashcard was imported incorrectly.
