Flashcard magnification

I just bought the PPC version of Plecodict and can't magnify the flash cards. I only installed the regular SimSun font, do I need to install another font for this?
I also have a problem with Pleco opening really slowly on my new device (a UTStarcom 6700 smartphone) and sometimes shutting down while I'm using it, I' not sure if this is a problem with the phone, Pleco or Windows Mobile. On my Palm t3 it opens instantly.
The reason this is a problem is I may one day be insulted in Chinese at a party and have to look up a word to stuff the offender with a snappy comeback, only to be standing with my phone in my hand, waiting for Plecodict to open as everyone laughs at me. I didn't pay for this kind of embarrassment, Mister!

SimSun should be all you need for magnification - are you sure that it's enabled in Test Settings? And that the magnified font size is set in Preferences to something larger than the list / definition text sizes?

As for the slow startup, this could be a Pocket PC issue or it could be a PlecoDict issue - did you install PlecoDict using the Automated or Manual installer? Did you move any files around after the installation finished? Do you remove/reinsert (or swap) your Pocket PC's SD cards a lot? Does the delay happen only when you start PlecoDict after a reset (when it's completely unloaded) or does it slow down even when you've previously run PlecoDict and it's still open in the background?

Thanks, selecting SimSun and adjusting the magnification settings fixed the flash cards. I did an automated install, but I did it a couple of times since I had problems getting the program to accept the key, but I'm thinking the slowness might just have to do with this OS. I was pretty accustomed to the speed of my T3 and I'm still getting used to the ppc, if anyone else uses a 6700, maybe they can tell me if their experience is similar.
Actually, I'd love to hear any tips or experiences from 6700 users. I might not reply right away, though, since my 4th of July plans include blowing some digits off and getting a DUI driving myself to the hospital. Just tentative, though, nothing's set in stone yet.
