Flashcard import and creation

Hi,

Really enjoying the new 4.0 version.

Just a couple of quick questions if that's ok.

1. Is there a certain file structure that allows import to all the flashcard fields available in the app? All the guides I have seen online only allow for three fields: characters<tab>pinyin<tab>English. Can I add to the body / notes fields via import too? If so what is the required format?

2. When I created a test card in the app, the text I added to the "English" field didn't show up in the dictionary entry (but the text added to "Entry body" did). Is that expected?

Thanks!

1) You can add more tabs and set the text format on the import screen to 'delimited text' in which case you'll have the option to assign each column to whatever field you like.

2) "English" is actually the English headword field; it will only display that as the definition of a Chinese word if there is not also an "entry body." (the intent is that "English" is a literal translation of the Chinese, while "entry body" is a descriptive definition, so for example in example sentence cards we put the English in "English")
