Fill-in-the-blanks marking incorrect answers as correct

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with my flashcards where any answers is being marked as correct for fill-in-the-blanks. The issue only seems to happen in some cases, and it seems to be related to whether or not simplified characters have been included. I'm learning traditional and the majority of my flashcards are self-created, therefore it's not really feasible or reasonable for me to go through and include simplified characters for all of them in order to correct this functionality.

Is this expected or is there an issue here? I've attached some images for reference.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

That's a new one - does it make any difference if you force it to use traditional only in New Test / Display Settings?

You can automatically generate simplified characters for all cards missing them via Organize / Edit / Batch.

Hey, thanks for the speedy response. I presume this is what you mean by forcing it to use traditional only?

If so, unfortunately that didn't work.

However, once I used the batch operation to add the simplified characters, it started correctly reporting my wrong answers!

Certainly a weird one, if you think it might be a bug let me know if I can help you pin down the cause.
